The brief

Salesforce needed to explain what selling actually feels like, not the product, the job. Every version of that story on the market at the time was a feature walkthrough with a smiling actor attached. The film had to be about the person doing the work, or it would be forgotten inside a quarter.

What we did

We built the film around a single narrative spine rather than a product argument: the history of selling, told as something human and slightly absurd, with the product as punctuation and never the subject. That decision is why it aged well. Feature films date the moment the feature ships; a story about the job does not.

Production was structured for reuse from the first shot list. Wide coverage, no on-screen dates, no interface footage that would expire, and cutdowns planned before the shoot rather than salvaged after it.

The result

Tenfold return in the first year against production cost. More interesting: it kept running. Thirteen years on it is still deployed, an asset that has outlived the campaigns, the platforms and most of the team that commissioned it.

This sits on a page in 2026 because it is the clearest evidence we have that a film built on a decided story behaves like an asset, while one built around a media plan behaves like a cost.

Nothing in the frame could be allowed to expire. That was the whole production strategy.

Want a film that is still working in a decade?

It starts with deciding the story. The sprint is $5,000 at the founding rate, while the five slots last.
