The Narrative Sprint

Two weeks to the one story your category cannot argue with, written down, structured, and ready to shoot. It is the document your site, your deck and your sales calls all get written from.

Run by the director behind Salesforce's most durable brand film, Spotify's BLACKPINK launch, and Johnny Depp's Three Hearts Rum. The person writing your strategy is the same person who will be holding the camera, which keeps the document shootable.

Founding rate — five slots
$5,000
for the five founding slots, then $8,500. The work does not change; the rate reflects that the sprint's own case studies are still being earned.

What you get

Narrative document

The claim, the proof behind it, the thing it argues against, and the language to say it in. Ten to fifteen pages, written to be used rather than admired.

Message architecture

Homepage hierarchy, sales-call framing, and the three lines everyone in the company should be able to repeat without a script.

Film treatment

The story as a shot plan: structure, location logic, casting notes, and the derivative cuts one day of shooting should produce.

AI-visibility baseline

Where your story shows up — and doesn't — when buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google. Run at intake, so the narrative is written to win the gaps the answers expose.

The two weeks

Day 1–2
Intake.

Founders and operators, one hour each. What you sell, who says no, and why the last campaign underperformed.

Day 3–5
Customer and category read.

Three to five customer calls, plus a hard look at what every competitor is already claiming.

Day 6–8
The claim.

Two or three candidate narratives, pressure-tested against your proof. One survives.

Day 9–12
Writing.

Narrative document, message architecture and film treatment drafted together, so the story and the shoot agree.

Day 13–14
Handover.

Live session with your team, one revision pass, and a costed path to production if you want the film.

Why the sprint exists

Most brand films fail before a camera is switched on.

They fail in the writing stage: nobody decided what the company was claiming, so the crew shot a compromise between six opinions. Deciding the story costs $5,000 and two weeks. Shooting an undecided one costs $65,000 and produces a polished film that says nothing.

Most studios sell production first and hope the story turns up in the edit. We sell the two separately and do the story first.

And then, if you want it
Launch films from $65,000. Hero campaigns $100,000–$150,000. And the Story Engine — the standing system that ships what the sprint decides, monthly, from $12,500. No obligation is attached to the sprint, and plenty of clients take the document and shoot it elsewhere.

Questions people actually ask

We already have a brand agency. Does this conflict?
No. They own the identity; this owns the argument. The sprint output slots into whatever brand system already exists.
Do we have to make the film with you?
No. The treatment is written so any competent crew can shoot it. Most clients come back, but it is not a condition.
Why is the founding rate limited to five slots?
Because the founding rate exists to produce the sprint's first case studies, and five is how many we can run properly while shooting. Booked inside the five means $5,000 even if the work runs into Q4.
What is the AI-visibility baseline?
At intake we ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google the questions your buyers actually ask, and record who the answers name. You see where your story shows up, where a competitor owns it, and where nobody does. The narrative is written to win the gaps.
How much of our time does it take?
Roughly six hours across two weeks: intake interviews, one mid-point call, and the handover session.
What if the document is not useful?
Then you should not pay for it. Say so at the handover session and the fee is refunded in full, and you keep the work.

$5,000, while the founding slots last.

Fifteen minutes on a call, and a straight answer about whether the sprint is right for what you are launching.
